Adult Pottery Wheel Workshop - Adult Pottery Wheel Workshop Join us to learn how to use the pottery wheel with artist Melissa Kowal, owner of Beeble Art Center. This two hour class will teach you all about pottery and using a pottery wheel. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get messy.Ceramics will be in white clay and finished with a clear glaze. They will be ready for pick-up approximately 4 weeks after the class (or as kiln firing time allows, ceramics might take longer to dry). The class will consist of 30-45 minutes of new drills each week, followed by coach-facilitated game play where you will be paired up with a new partner each game. We will focus on advanced drills, becoming proficient and understanding the advantages of 3rd shot drop, knowing when to drive vs. drop, making your way to the NVZ as offensively as possible, strategizing your soft game, improving footwork, technique, court position, and shot selection.
