Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.  A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced game.Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.  Only equipment needed is a Paddle. Games are pick up games based on the number of players for each day.Morning Group - More Experienced & CompetitiveRecreational Skilled Group - Ability to move to the ball and proficient enough to keep the ball in play. Recreational Group - Some experience but more for fun and exercise.Evening-Combination -  Should have played before and understand how to play the game.Location: Gray's Beach Park if the weather is nice, or Reed Community Building; each group will decide the location based on weather.

A music and movement class designed for ages 2-5, where little ones discover the fun of moving their bodies to music. Through playful songs, rhythm, games, and simple dances, children build coordination and confidence while developing a lifelong love of movement.Children must be accompanied by an adult. A 50% sibling discount is available for each additional child. The discount will show on the checkout screen.

Join Mrs. Bacher and your peers after school for some arts and crafts fun! Enjoy some painting, clay, drawing, 3D art and more. We will create individual projects and group projects.Be sure to wear clothes that you won't mind getting messy in!Students will come right to the Art Room at the end of the school day - kids are allowed to bring nut-free snacks (snacks will not be provided).Instructor: Abby BacherWhen registering for this program you are also giving Kingston Intermediate School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program. This program includes progressive tumbling skills which will include floor routines that will also incorporate dance moves.  Children will use balance beams, trampoline, and more.   This is a fun way for children, both boys and girls  to learn and build flexibility and strength.  This is a year long program that runs from September - May, and will include a performance at the annual dance recital in May. Costumes are included. Come join the fun with dance /tumbling instructor, Miss Tracey, certified by test to teach and also a member of DMA, and DTCB.Registration is open through October 31st. Join Mrs. Day, Ms. McCarthy, Mrs. S and Mrs. Tresca in Presents on Parade!  When the kids learn they could snag a spot in Toyland Department Store’s amazing annual parade, they march into action: taking a quick journey “Over the River,” experiencing a fabulous “Toyland” welcome, and winning a contest during Victor Herbert’s “March of the Toys,”. Does your child love to watch things move, create and design tracks and roller coasters? This fun-filled, hands-on workshop will allow the students to create and keep their very own marble run using common household materials. They will also make a scribble machine that moves and colors in creative ways! The students will also be encouraged to create a Rube Goldberg machine together using simple machines. We will round out the workshop by building and testing balloon cars and using electric circuit kits. Students get to keep their creations. It's sure to be lots of fun!

We will create three different projects out of clay to explore texture, form, and the artist's ideas. Both boys and girls will learn basic stretching, drills, mat tumbling, somersaults, back rolls, cartwheels, and more.  They will do a circuit by using the equipment.  students will also use props such as hula hoops, bean bags , streamers, and a parachute.  Instructor: Tracey O'Brien-Certified by test to teach.  Member of DMA and DTCBRegistration is open through September 18th.
