Join us to learn how to use the pottery wheel with artist Melissa Kowal, owner of Beeble Art Center. This hour-and-a-half class will teach you all about pottery and using a pottery wheel. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get messy. Ceramics will be in white clay and finished with a clear glaze. They will be ready for pick-up approximately 2 weeks after the class (or as kiln firing times allow, ceramics might take longer to dry.)Instructor: Melissa Kowal

Participants must have prior experience with clay and handbuilding tools, as no formal instruction will be provided. The studio offers a flexible environment to explore personal projects, refine techniques, and create at your own pace. We also have a pottery wheel that can be used, but you will need to reserve its use. New to clay? Consider starting with our Foundations of Handbuilding with Clay class, where beginners can learn essential techniques and become familiar with working with clay and handbuilding tools. This introductory class is a great way to build the skills and confidence needed to eventually transition into the open studio environment. A 2-hour minimum charge applies to all open studio sessions. Clay is available for purchase, and firing services are offered for an additional fee. Perfect for artists looking for dedicated studio time in a supportive, shared space.

This class focuses on building core skills, understanding clay as a material, and developing personal creativity in a relaxed, hands-on studio environment. Class fee includes basic supplies.You will create a unique piece that incorporates the three fundamental handbuilding techniques. Finished items will be available for pick-up approximately 2-3 weeks after the class, depending on the drying time of pieces and kiln firing schedules. Participants will learn the candle-making process from start to finish, including material preparation, scent mixing, candle formation, wick placement, and finishing techniques. Each participant will create their own beautiful aromatic candle using a handmade ceramic resin bowl, soy wax, a scent of their choice, and handmade wax flowers and decorative accents. All supplies are included. Whether you’re looking to try something new, enjoy a relaxing evening out, or create a one-of-a-kind handmade piece, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore your creativity.

This is a fast paced competitive drill session where players rotate in and out challenging the winning team on the court.  Winners stay and challengers rotate in after earning 3 points against the winning team.  Coach dictates point parameters to help build consistency under pressure and decision making in live point scenarios. A GRAY'S BEACH STICKER OR TRANSFER STATION STICKER IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PARK FOR THIS PROGRAM

Gentle Yoga with Dawne is a non-Judgemental Yoga class designed for the beginner and advanced, all shapes, sizes and ages welcome. Starcreations presents the musical theater workshop "Charlie Brown".  This workshop will instruct students in theater, music, and dance, and will culminate in a live performance at the end of the program.  Through music and acting development, this workshop will help build students' self-esteem and explore their creativity.  No prior theater experience necessary. Performances: June 11th and 12th. Doors open at 7pm. Late registrations will not be prorated.

This is a fast paced competitive drill session where players rotate in and out challenging the winning team on the court.  Winners stay and challengers rotate in after earning 3 points against the winning team.  Coach dictates point parameters to help build consistency under pressure and decision making in live point scenarios. A GRAY'S BEACH STICKER OR TRANSFER STATION STICKER IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PARK FOR THIS PROGRAM

Join Plymouth County 4-H for a fun and educational Dog Safety Program with Merida the Therapy Collie! Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade will learn how to better understand dogs by recognizing body language and signs of stress, helping to prevent dog bites and promote safe interactions with pets. This interactive program is a great opportunity for children and adults to learn together while meeting a certified therapy dog.This is a free program. An adult must attend with each child, and all participants must register in advance.

Led by our energetic instructors, young artists dive into a world of painting, drawing, sculpture, and more, discovering new ways to express themselves at every turn!Our clinic is bursting with laughter, friendship, and creativity as participants team up for group projects, teamwork, and a collaborative showcase. Mrs. Kowal's team will instruct an artistic process, and it’s up to the artists to create and focus on their own projects! With each stroke of the brush and every twist of the clay, they're not just creating art – they're creating memories that will last a lifetime.Each camp day is 4 and a half hours long. There will be a 15-minute break in between projects. On average, there will be three art projects per day. Each age group will be in its own group to create age-appropriate projects. If you have any artists who would like to stay in a group together, please let me know!On our last day of art week, there will be an art show where you and your family at 1:00 PM can come and see the art that the artists made all week! Please take home your projects at the end of the show.Come dressed for a MESS! The clothes you wear will come home with paint, clay, marker, and ink on them. Aprons are provided.Please bring water, a snack, and a lunch for your artist! This summer program is designed to help players of all levels improve their fundamentals, enhance their understanding of the game, and develop team play in a positive and energetic environment. Led by experienced coaches and athletes, registrants will participate in drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities that foster confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Whether you're new to field hockey or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, this camp has something for everyone.
