KIS Art Fun - KIS Art Fun - Session 3 - Tuesday Join Miss Carroll and your peers after school for some arts and crafts fun! Enjoy some painting, clay, drawing, 3D art and more. We will create individual projects and group projects.Be sure to wear clothes that you won't mind getting messy in!Students will come right to the Art Room at the end of the school day - kids are allowed to bring nut-free snacks (snacks will not be provided).Instructor: Abby CarrollWhen registering for this program you are also giving Kingston Intermediate School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program. KES "Bada Bing It's Spring" Chorus Club Musical - KES Spring Chorus - Tuesdays and Thursdays Spring is just around the corner, but the flowers have yet to bloom. The children are waiting for nice weather, the weeds have popped out of the earth, but the flowers remain steadfastly hidden underground. It takes the clever Dandelion Queen to figure out why, and bring about the first blossoms of the season! Students will work as a group to develop confidence, courage, and teamwork. This musical teaches singing, writing script and designing and building a set for our performance. Tuesday Sessions: 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1 (also Thursday 3/27 for combined rehearsal.) Thursday Sessions: 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/27, 3/13, 3/27, (also Tuesdays 3/4 and 3/18 due to no club on Thursday those weeks) (Family Show Tuesday 4/1)When registering for this program you are also giving Kingston Elementary School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program.If this program needs to be cancelled on the same day of the program you will receive an e-mail blast and a text blast from us - and 'Your child will be sent home according to their default plan unless you notify the school of a different plan change." Clay Club - Littles Clay Club - begins January 7th Use the art studio space with Ms. Kowal to find your creativity through clay. We have wheel-throwing and hand-building projects available. Create original clay projects with your peers! We will create three different projects out of clay to explore texture, form, and the artist's ideas. All supplies are given at the beginning of the course to be used in the studio.Remember to bring messy clothes or a smock to class.If there is a class cancellation, we will hold a make-up class the following week. Great roles for both male and female participants - no prior theater experience necessary.
