Little Artists Art Class - Little Artists Art Class
Every week we will explore a way to be creative WITH our kids! Guardians and students will create fun crafts alongside one another. Mrs. Kowal will help you create a masterpiece to bring home to your family. The best part is that you don't have to clean up! We will be exploring painting, printmaking, air dry clay and many more fun supplies. Materials and support will be provided to allow each family to feel confident to start their artistic journey. Join Cosmic Bee’s Homeschool Art Class for a creative adventure each week! Art classes focus on learning about different art materials and techniques, as well as art history and historical art movements.Each session features a fun new project designed to inspire, support the historical lesson plan, build skills, and encourage self-expression.Make sure to wear messy clothes!Instructor: Melissa Kowal

Clay Club - Clay Club
Let your child’s creativity take shape in this fun and hands-on clay class! Kids will explore hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to make their own pottery and sculptures. They’ll learn how to shape, decorate, glaze, and even see their creations fired in the kiln! This class encourages imagination, fine motor skills, and confidence—all while having a blast working with clay. Perfect for young artists who love to make and create! Remember to bring messy clothes or a smock to class. If there is a class cancellation we will hold a make-up class the following week. We will not be meeting during holidays or school vacation weeks. Foundations of Handbuilding with Clay - Foundations of Handbuilding with Clay
Explore the art of working with clay through traditional handbuilding techniques. Participants will learn how to create functional and decorative pieces without the use of a pottery wheel, using methods such as pinch pots, coil, and slab construction. This class focuses on building core skills, understanding clay as a material, and developing personal creativity in a relaxed, hands-on studio environment. Class fee includes basic supplies.You will create a unique piece that incorporates the three fundamental handbuilding techniques. Finished items will be available for pick-up approximately 2-3 weeks after the class, depending on the drying time of pieces and kiln firing schedules. Participants will receive an email notification once their piece is ready for pick-up.Instructor: Brandi Gordon

Create with Clay - Handbuilding Open Studio - Open Studio - Handbuilding with Clay - 10/20/26
Open studio is designed for experienced ceramic artists who are comfortable working independently. Participants must have prior experience with clay and handbuilding tools, as no formal instruction will be provided. The studio offers a flexible environment to explore personal projects, refine techniques, and create at your own pace. We also have a pottery wheel that can be used, but you will need to reserve its use. New to clay? Consider starting with our Foundations of Handbuilding with Clay class, where beginners can learn essential techniques and become familiar with working with clay and handbuilding tools. This introductory class is a great way to build the skills and confidence needed to eventually transition into the open studio environment. A 2-hour minimum charge applies to all open studio sessions. Clay is available for purchase, and firing services are offered for an additional fee. Perfect for artists looking for dedicated studio time in a supportive, shared space.
