Back Care and Core Conditioning - Back Care and Core Conditioning Back Care & Core Conditioning *This class is intended for individuals comfortable with or interested in stretching and exercising from the floor on an exercise mat.* The therapeutic movements, exercises and stretches introduced in this class are designed to build core and back strength along with hip mobility and hamstring/lower extremity flexibility. The class includes passive and active stretching sequences in addition to low-impact isometric and body weight resistance exercises. *Aside from building muscular strength and flexibility, an additional benefit to the class is that it affords the student the opportunity to learn and build confidence on how to get down and up from the floor safely. This class compliments the "Balance & Conditioning" class well.A few items that would be beneficial to bring to class: something to support your head ie a blanket or pillow, a Stretch/Yoga Strap or something that would serve that purpose and a yoga mat.Instructor: Neil Sullivan MS. R-CEP, C.S.C.S, CPTNeil Sullivan is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist employed through Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital & BIDMC where he leads the “Balance & Fall Prevention” as well as the “Post-Rehab Back Care” Programs in both outpatient and clinical group settings. Neil has also served as an adjunct professor in the Health & Sciences Dept. at several colleges in the Boston area, where he taught Exercise Science as well Nutrition. Neil is currently serving as a Graduate Assistant and in the Applied Exercise Physiology Doctoral Program at UMass Boston while completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Balance and Conditioning Training - Balance and Conditioning Training Balance & Conditioning Training The classes will consist of strength & conditioning exercises, stretches and various balance drills designed to increase balance, strength and flexibility. Back Care and Core Conditioning - Back Care and Core Conditioning Back Care & Core Conditioning *This class is intended for individuals comfortable with or interested in stretching and exercising from the floor on an exercise mat.* The therapeutic movements, exercises and stretches introduced in this class are designed to build core and back strength along with hip mobility and hamstring/lower extremity flexibility. The class includes passive and active stretching sequences in addition to low-impact isometric and body weight resistance exercises. *Aside from building muscular strength and flexibility, an additional benefit to the class is that it affords the student the opportunity to learn and build confidence on how to get down and up from the floor safely. This class compliments the "Balance & Conditioning" class well.A few items that would be beneficial to bring to class: something to support your head ie a blanket or pillow, a Stretch/Yoga Strap or something that would serve that purpose and a yoga mat.Instructor: Neil Sullivan MS. R-CEP, C.S.C.S, CPTNeil Sullivan is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist employed through Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital & BIDMC where he leads the “Balance & Fall Prevention” as well as the “Post-Rehab Back Care” Programs in both outpatient and clinical group settings. Neil has also served as an adjunct professor in the Health & Sciences Dept. at several colleges in the Boston area, where he taught Exercise Science as well Nutrition. Neil is currently serving as a Graduate Assistant and in the Applied Exercise Physiology Doctoral Program at UMass Boston while completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Balance and Conditioning Training - Balance and Conditioning Training Balance & Conditioning Training The classes will consist of strength & conditioning exercises, stretches and various balance drills designed to increase balance, strength and flexibility. Back Care and Core Conditioning - Back Care and Core Conditioning Back Care & Core Conditioning *This class is intended for individuals comfortable with or interested in stretching and exercising from the floor on an exercise mat.* The therapeutic movements, exercises and stretches introduced in this class are designed to build core and back strength along with hip mobility and hamstring/lower extremity flexibility. The class includes passive and active stretching sequences in addition to low-impact isometric and body weight resistance exercises. *Aside from building muscular strength and flexibility, an additional benefit to the class is that it affords the student the opportunity to learn and build confidence on how to get down and up from the floor safely. This class compliments the "Balance & Conditioning" class well.A few items that would be beneficial to bring to class: something to support your head ie a blanket or pillow, a Stretch/Yoga Strap or something that would serve that purpose and a yoga mat.Instructor: Neil Sullivan MS. Dance-On your Toes with Miss Tracey - Year Long Program - Dance on Your Toes with Miss Tracey - Monday This class will let your child explore & discover their love of dance and music. Miss Tracey offers a combination of different styles of dance such as ballet, tap, and jazz, ending class with some tumbling. Children will learn great dance moves with the benefit of physical activity as well. Classes are taught with fun upbeat popular and age appropriate music. Your child will learn dance movements while building confidence to perform on stage. Classes are held once a week for an hour, and is a year long program. Children will learn two dance routines to be performed at the recital at the end of the year.Any questions regarding schedule, shoes etc, contact Miss Tracey at 617-435-3403NEW THIS YEAR: The yearly fee includes 1 costume to take home. Practice and Recital - Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17thRegistrations are still available for this program, however fees are not pro-rated.

Tumbling /Gymnastics - Year Long Program - Tumbling/Gymnastics - Monday This program includes progressive tumbling skills which will include floor routines that will also incorporate dance moves. Children will use balance beams, trampoline, and more. This is a fun way for children, both boys and girls to learn and build flexibility and strength. This is a year long program that runs from September - May, and will include a performance at the annual dance recital in May. Costumes are included. Come join the fun with dance /tumbling instructor, Miss Tracey, certified by test to teach and also a member of DMA, and DTCB.New this year, fee includes one costume to take home.Practice and Recital - Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17thRegistrations are still available for this program, however fees are not pro-rated.
