Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.  A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced game.Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.  Only equipment needed is a Paddle. Games are pick up games based on the number of players for each day.Morning Group - More Experienced & CompetitiveRecreational Skilled Group - Ability to move to the ball and proficient enough to keep the ball in play. Recreational Group - Some experience but more for fun and exercise.Evening-Combination -  Should have played before and understand how to play the game.Location: Gray's Beach Park if the weather is nice, or Reed Community Building; each group will decide the location based on weather.Outdoor only play begins June 12th, 2025 at Gray's Beach Park Tennis Courts.

Join Mrs. S, Mrs. Day and Mrs. Tresca after school to learn a variety of patriotic songs including the National Anthem. Each singer will learn to play and take home a Kazoo. The Star Spangled Singers will be marching and singing in Kingston's Memorial Day Parade on May 26th. The Star Spangled Singers will also participate in a Flag Day Ceremony on our last day, Tuesday, June 3rd at 4:00 PM. Families are invited. Learn Fashion Basics:  Get inspired by famous designers, explore different fashion trends, and learn the importance of self-expression through clothing. We move through a series of both standing and seated postures - always taking into consideration the needs of the students present. We close each class with a brief relaxation (Shavasana).Dawne has 36+ years of experience teaching all types of health and wellness classes.  She is certified in Yoga, Pilates Mat, Barre, Personal Training, group exercise, Reikei, and studied the Rossiter Method.   The Punch Card option is for 6 classes of your choosing, either day with no commitment. A beautiful class to begin your Pilates practice with a little added stretch. This class will concentrate on strengthening the body with emphasis on your core (trunk muscles) while also training your arms and legs. Pilates can also help with posture, balance, and flexibility. A beautiful class to begin your Pilates practice with a little added stretch. This class will concentrate on strengthening the body with emphasis on your core (trunk muscles) while also training your arms and legs. Pilates can also help with posture, balance, and flexibility. Helping to improve your overall well-being. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat and a water bottle.

The Star Spangled Singers will be marching and singing in Kingston's Memorial Day Parade on May 26th. The Star Spangled Singers will also participate in a Flag Day Ceremony on our last day, Tuesday, June 3rd at 4:00 PM. Families are invited. Starcreations Theater presents the musical theater workshop "Alice in Wonderland". Learn Fashion Basics:  Get inspired by famous designers, explore different fashion trends, and learn the importance of self-expression through clothing. This Club is all about self-expression, learning, and having fun!  It's a place where young designers turn their creative ideas into stylish reality and make new friends along the way.  Kids may be asked to bring in clothing items from their own closets to customize.  Come join the fun ~ where style meets imagination!Instructor:  Victoria BalleriniThis program has limited space, so registration is open to Kingston Residents only beginning April 16th. This clinic is for players looking to have fun and competitive games. The format is the games are played on 3 different courts. There is a high court, a middle court, and a low court. Players will be paired up with a partner and assigned to a court. Games will be played to 11 win by 2. Winners of each game will stay on the court and split. Losers will move down and split. Play will continue rotating in this manner. Of course, in each class we will warm up with at least 30 minutes of drills! Play will continue rotating in this manner. Of course, in each class we will warm up with at least 30 minutes of drills! Join us for the Silver Lake High School Field Hockey Summer Clinic, a fun and skill-building experience for girls currently in grades 3 through 11, for the 2024-2025 school year. This summer program is designed to help players of all levels improve their fundamentals, enhance their understanding of the game, and develop team play in a positive and energetic environment. Led by experienced coaches and athletes, registrants will participate in drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities that foster confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Whether you're new to field hockey or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, this camp has something for everyone. This clinic is for players looking to learn the game of Pickleball! This fast-track methodology will introduce players to the game. You will get a complete overview of rules, rotation, serves, return of serves, and court positioning. Each class will end with 15 minutes of coach-facilitated game play. Skills will be refined each week. Come discover why this is the fastest-growing sport and have some fun!Cindy is PPR certified by National Pro Sarah Ansboury and is a USA Pickleball Ambassador. She is passionate about coaching and is well known throughout the South Shore!

This clinic is for players looking to improve their game! Each class will consist of 45 minutes of drilling followed by 45 minutes of coach-facilitated play. We will work on proficiency with drops, knowing when to drive, court positioning, transition skills, and shot selection. This clinic is for players looking to have fun and competitive games. The format is the games are played on 3 different courts. There is a high court, a middle court, and a low court. Players will be paired up with a partner and assigned to a court. Games will be played to 11 win by 2. Winners of each game will stay on the court and split. Losers will move down and split. Play will continue rotating in this manner. Of course, in each class we will warm up with at least 30 minutes of drills! Cindy will offer tips/strategies during gameplay. 12 player minimum for this program to run!Cindy is PPR certified by National Pro Sarah Ansboury and is a USA Pickleball Ambassador. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.  A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced game.Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.  Only equipment needed is a Paddle. Games are pick up games based on the number of players for each day.Morning Group - More Experienced & CompetitiveRecreational Skilled Group - Ability to move to the ball and proficient enough to keep the ball in play. Recreational Group - Some experience but more for fun and exercise.Evening-Combination -  Should have played before and understand how to play the game.Location: Gray's Beach Park if the weather is nice, or Reed Community Building; each group will decide the location based on weather.Outdoor only play begins June 12th, 2025 at Gray's Beach Park Tennis Courts.
