Parents report that kids come home from Kids’ Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new recipes! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! And everyone practices essential life skills like teamwork, time management, patience, along with the obvious skills like slicing, measuring, and cooking! On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids’ Test Kitchen’s enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Kids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own.Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes.Yes – join us again! Each series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare and explore!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Welcome to the Fashion Club where creativity meets style!  This fun and interactive club is designed for young enthusiasts to explore the world of fashion through exciting activities.  Whether they love designing clothes, experimenting with different styles, or learning about how different garments are made, our club offers a variety of activities that spark imagination and build confidence. Kids will have the opportunity to: Get Inspired: assemble a personalized "mood board"  to express their personal style with a collage of fashion trends, colors, textures, patterns, style icons and more! Create DIY Fashion: Design and personalize their own clothes and accessories. Learn Fashion Basics:  Get inspired by famous designers, explore different fashion trends, and learn the importance of self -expression through clothing. Enjoy hands on activities like block printing, embroidering, quilting, hand-sewing or creating fashion sketches. This Club is all about self-expression, learning, and having fun!  It's a place where young designers turn their creative ideas into stylish reality, and make new friends along the way.  Kids may be asked to bring in clothing items from their own closets to customize.  Come join the fun ~ where style meets imagination!Instructor:  Victoria BalleriniThis program has limited space, so registration open to Kingston Residents only beginning March 6th. If space is still available non-residents can register beginning March 13th.
