Indigo Make and Take Workshop
Indigo dyeing is a traditional dyeing technique that creates beautiful, deep blue hues. Learn the basics of Indigo dyeing by exploring a variety of techniques. You will create a set of 4 hand-dyed cotton napkins. Traditional shibori and other Japanese resist techniques will be included with hands-on help. The fee includes all materials needed. Additional materials will be available for purchase to dye. You can also bring an item of clothing (all-natural materials preferred) to dye for an additional $15 (payable at the event). NO PREVIOUS SKILLS NECESSARY. Come have fun, get messy, explore, and see what you can do! Please bring a bagged lunch. Also, dress appropriately, as indigo stains and will not come out. This event will happen rain or shine.

Spring River Farm is a small 20-acre, family-owned farm that has been home to many horses over the past 20 years.
For years, we have wanted to do something different with the farmland. Having the equipment necessary for a busy horse farm, plenty of compost, and a fenced-in pasture made flowers an easy decision. In 2020, we decided to start growing annual flowers. With some research and guidance, Spring River Flowers was born. We are slowly adding to the varieties we offer, and every year there is more in bloom.
