What is Orton Gillingham?
It is an explicit, direct , sequential, systematic, multi- sensory instruction to teach reading, which is not only effective for all students, but essential for teaching students with dyslexia and language based reading difficulty.  Most structured reading programs are structured on the Orton Gillingham approach.  Students will be placed in groups based on instructional skill level and need.  They will be taught by certified Orton Gillingham instructors, Mrs. Leavitt and Mrs. Lunde , and Mrs. Doyle.
Please bring a snack and a drink!

Students will not be allowed to stay after school until program begins, parents need to transport them back to KES at 4:30.
