Boat America-Safety Course

The beginner boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boating license or safety certification in many states.  Topics include boat types and uses, pre underway checks, boat handling, navigation, and what to do in emergencies.  Youth under age 16 but at least 12 who pass the course and state exams will be able to obtain the Massachusetts junior operator certificate.

Ages 12-16, please click on link below and bring form signed by parent to first class.
