Rowing DBMS
The Kingston Recreation Department is collaborating with Duxbury Bay Maritime School to offer several different sailing programs this summer. Registration open until full or April 15th.

Learn To Row -Ages 11-17 1 hr/Day- Prerequisites: None
This class will introduce the basic rowing fundamentals of sculling using a variety of tools including rowing tanks, Concept 2 ergometers and single shells.  Students will learn and practice the technique of the rowing stroke, dock and boat safety, and at the end of the week, we will row on the water in our fun and stable rowing shells. No previous experience required.  

There are only 2 spots available for each week listed.   


The Kingston Yacht Club has donated 10% for each first time participant registration, toward this partnered Rowing Program with the Duxbury Bay Maritime School.  The fee listed below already is indicative of the one time 10% reduction plus a 10% one time discount from the Duxbury Bay Maritime School. 

The Kingston Yacht Club is also donating an additional 20% discount to all Kingston Yacht Club members immediate family, one session per person.  KYC member will pay the amount listed and then bring their receipt to the KYC for their additional 20% discount to be paid by the Kingston Yacht Club.
