This Silver Lake STEM program is taught by coaches and team members of the high school Silver Lake Robotics Team. Students will collaborate in teams to design, build, and program robots in a competitive and exploratory environment. All instructors are volunteers, and proceeds support the Silver Lake Robotics team/club. The program covers essential STEM standards, including problem-solving, model development, investigation planning, data analysis, computational thinking, and prototype construction. Open to all experience levels, registration is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis for residents of Halifax, Plympton, and Kingston through the Kingston Recreation Department.
There is no class on June 19, 2025.
Grade Specification
Instructor - Matt Mello, Silver Lake Regional High School, Science Department
If a program is specified by grade, it is meant for the 2024-2025 school year - the grade should be the grade they complete in June 2025.
